ATTENTION: Diana Waterman was best known as a powerhouse in Maryland Republican Politics. This scholarship was created to honor Diana's memory and her commitment to people working in politics in the service of the greater good, without expectation of credit or personal recognition.
This fund awards scholarships to Maryland Women studying political science, or a comparable field, at an accredited college or university, who demonstrate academic excellence, and exemplify Diana's commitment to selfless political activism.

This organization is offering up to fifty $2,500 scholarships to students who are eligible. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
-Be current undergraduate students or high school seniors who plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire 2024-2025 academic year.
-High school seniors must be residents of one of the eligible municipalities listed.
-Undergraduate students must attend school in one of the eligible municipalities listed.
-Students must show a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) or higher to be eligible.
