The Brenda A. Brown Passport Scholarship honors the influential professor who helped our founder, Leticia Nortey, overcome obstacles to study abroad. We are paying that kindness forward by awarding recipients the funds to apply for their first U.S. passport.

Capacity: We support 30 passport applications every year.
Eligibility: Open to high school, college, and graduate students.
Requirement: Must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
Reach: This program serves students across the entire United States.

Today is World Environment Day, and at EBI, we teach our youth to Think Global, Act Local. Through our STEAM Exchange Program, students from Baltimore County to Bosomtwe, Ashanti utilize science, technology, and engineering concepts to analyze environmental patterns and brainstorm sustainable solutions for their local communities. By teaching sustainability through a technical lens, we train the next generation of climate scientists and global advocates.
