Sometimes I wish there was a crystal ball that I could look into to see how all of my former students are doing. When I realize that I have been teaching for more than half of my life, and that I’ve probably taught close to a thousand students, it seems baffling to think of how fast it all rolls by.

Many of us would agree that this was the best class a teacher could ask for! Also, I think this was about 10 minutes before a couple of boys stepped on yellowjacket nests and we had to evacuate the mountain, but that could have been another hike.

Here’s another fun picture, which I think was taken at the top of The Pinnacle in Westminster West. This is either Corey or Ryan Rounds, but all of these years later, I can’t tell which!

I am cleaning out a bin and found this gem. This is from my term student teaching in fifth grade at the Highland Avenue School, and I believe the date stamp is November 1995. Nearly 25 years later and still in fifth grade!

So proud that one of my students was involved in this!

A core group students spent five weeks wiring together more than 400 electrical sensors to batteries and tiny LED lights for the effort.
