The Home School Connection We are a free, fine arts and enrichment program for homeschoolers in kindergarten through 8th grade. This page is our public page that anyone can see and use!

The WWA Home School Connection Enrichment Program is designed to enhance the solid learning students are receiving at home, not replace it. We offer your home schooled children unique opportunities to take classes on subjects that might be more difficult for you to teach at home, require a substantial financia

Last Monday was HSC's annual Field Day. Both students and staff alike loved all the fun, creative stations throughout the day! Families set up and ran 12 stations - things like Pancake Party Relay, Centipede Skis, Sploosh, Sack Race and more! Ms. Amy did a great job organizing everything for the day and everyone fully enjoyed the fun, competitive day! In case you missed it, last week was a major week for Miss Hayley's Technical Theatre and Musical Theatre classes because it was performance time! All 4 casts and crew did a spectacular job bringing "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White" to life. From a magic mirror who could rap to dwarves doing the salsa, it was a hilarious and fun show that left us all smiling! Ms. Kim's Impact Leaders have been helping all over HSC lately... teaching Kindergartners about Enos Mills, the "Father" of the Rocky Mountain National Park, and going on a nature walk; making friendship buttons for all HSC students for Day Without Hate; cleaning up trash at one of our locations; and holding a donation drive for the Denver Rescue Mission. HSC's Leaders put so much into HSC and our community, they truly show others what it means to be leaders. Last week, HSC had a fun week welcoming in possible new students! Our musical and technical theatre students had dress rehearsal for the musical next week. The rest of the students were able to visit new classes and learn from teachers they may not have had yet. Activities like mask making, elephant toothpaste, robots, making lemonade, print making and more were very enjoyed by all! Our visiting students made new friends and current students were so kind and welcoming. If you would like your student to participate in activities like this, we'd love to have them at HSC! Mr. Dan's Click It has been a great success this semester with students learning that exercising can be fun and easy and just a click away to a more active lifestyle. We have traveled the world playing a variety of games in Global Sports and Club Racket has been helping students with hand eye coordination that will enable them to improve athleticism in any sport. Ms. Lyndsey's art studio has been high energy as her creators dive into some seriously cool projects! Construct and Create artists are building incredible assemblage robots, while the Hooked on Drawing crew is mastering horizon lines and one-point perspective to add amazing depth to their work. Over in the Idea Factory, students are finding their voices by crafting verbal artist statements to explain the "why" behind their unique Open Choice Studio masterpieces.
