WOCCSE and the CAC invite you to attend this meeting designed specifically for parents of students with special needs. WSD is proud to host this event at Land Early Learning Center on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 8:30-10:00am. The information will be presented by WOCCSE's Executive Director, and former WSD Student Services Executive Director, Reagan Hendrick. There will be interpretation in Spanish and Vietnamese. We hope to see you there!

Join us this weekend, starting tonight for an evening of fun for the whole family! Tonight, our WSD Dual Immersion Students will be performing, so come out and support! There will be vendors, food, carnival rides and live entertainment. We hope to see you there!

🎨🌟 An art event for special-needs kids, giving them the opportunity to create art in a supportive, adapted environment. There will be teacher assistance and professional step-by-step instruction as we assist the kids in creating artwork in celebration of Mother’s Day. 🌷👩‍👧‍👦

Today students at Land School got to see, touch and learn about different kinds of reptiles during a special assembly by The Reptile Zoo. They saw turtles, toads, frogs, snakes and even a baby alligator! Such a fun, hands-on learning opportunity for all!

This Thursday, 5/18 is Neurodivergent Family Night from 5:00pm-7:00pm! This special evening is an opportunity for children of all ages from the neurodiverse community and with other disabilities to enjoy The City in a sensory-friendly environment with their parents/siblings/caretakers.
FREE to behavioral therapists and neurodiverse children with other disabilities and their immediate families
** Max: 250 guests* Only families that pre-registered will be allowed to enter the museum

5/19 Embracing your Inner Child! Experience the joy of play as you explore our exhibits and participate in activities like yoga, art, breathing exercises, healing sounds & more.
This event isn’t just about having fun (although that’s a big part of it!). We’re also partnering with Be Well OC, Start Well and Sound Soul Alchemy to bring you mental health resources and healing sounds that will help you connect with your inner child and promote self-care. 🧘‍♀️ Plus, we’ll have yoga, and more to help you relax, unwind, and rediscover the joy of play. 5/20 Artist in Residence with Matt: Acrylic Painting Instructor Join Matt Southgate in a paint-and-sip experience where you will learn about color theory, a basic color pallet selection of primary colors and black, white and brown You will learn introductory skills of holding and controlling a paint brush in your hand as well as common approaches and techniques to painting.

5/25- 9/4 Camping in the City! Explore the great outdoors without ever leaving our city as you hike our nature trails, follow the footprints of critters that call Pretend City home, and learn all about the wonders of nature. And what's a camping trip without a campfire? Gather 'round our virtual fire pit to hear stories and learn how to make s'mores that will leave your taste buds begging for more.

We are also OPEN on TUESDAYS Starting May 30th.
