By highlighting each child’s individuality, we create an environment where every student feels seen, valued, and appreciated. 💖

There are limited spots available for summer camp! Join us for a summer filled with outdoor activities, free play, arts and crafts, academic reviews, and much more, all organized around a fun weekly theme! Families can sign up for any number of weeks, and children ages 3 ½ to 11 are welcome.

What a special day for NCCS! ✂️🌿

Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting of our new immersive living classroom —a space that will provide our students with endless opportunities to learn, explore, and create.

This project would not have been possible without the generosity and support of so many people. A special thank you to New Line Electric, along with the many volunteers, donors, and contributors who gave their time, talents, and resources to bring this vision to life. Your investment in our students will have a lasting impact for years to come.

We are excited to see this space become an extension of our classrooms and a place where curiosity, discovery, and learning flourish.

👫✨ One of the things we love doing for our incoming Kindergarteners is hosting a **Sneak Peek Day** — a special morning designed to help ease the transition into school while building early connections with classmates and teachers. 💛
Building strong relationships from day one is a top priority. Sneak Peek Day gives students a chance to explore a kindergarten classroom, meet their teacher, make new friends, and get a feel for the school day — all in a fun and relaxed environment.

Join us at Camp NCCS where campers get to dive into a new exciting theme every week! They'll enjoy a mix of arts and crafts, outdoor activities, free play, hands-on learning experiences, and academic reviews to prevent the summer slide. The Fir and Hickory homerooms made their final trip of the year to Captain Family Farms today! 🌱🍓
Students harvested fresh lettuce and radishes and also painted rocks to use as strawberry decoys. It was a wonderful way to wrap up a year full of hands-on learning, teamwork, and growing both in and out of the classroom.
