Thanks to Mr. Scopp my grandson is able to try new instruments. And Jayden is now playing the trumpet, violin and classical guitar.
He has never played the trumpet before today and as you can see he is a natural!
Kindergartner Alyssa Kelly wanted to show her school and friends her pumpkin 🎃 and hopes everyone had a great weekend!

The 22nd annual “Project ACES” physical activity challenge for elementary schools started this week and runs through October 10. This is a two-week challenge for students to track at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day during the challenge. Students can count activity at home, at sports and recreation programs and activities such as yard work.
Students can win prizes donated by the Baltimore Ravens. Grand prizes include four tickets to see a Baltimore Ravens Game and five tickets to a luncheon with the Baltimore Ravens players.
Each student received a Project Aces journal to record their activity each day. We hope families will join in the fun and get activity with their children!

A few reminders…

🚌 Bus routes have changed since last school year, so please check your stop information carefully. During the first week of school, please be at your stop 15 minutes prior to the scheduled stop time. Bus stops can be found here - https://www.carrollk12.org/about/news/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=2984

🍏 FREE breakfast and FREE lunch are available for all students again this year. Breakfast will be grab and go in the lobby as students enter for the day (eaten in homeroom). There will be plenty of staff on hand to help our new students learn this process.

💦 Please send your student to school with a water bottle. Bottle filling stations are available throughout the school.

📝 If you signed up for school supplies and were unable to attend our Open House on Friday, all supplies will be delivered to student classrooms tomorrow. If you are still in need of school supplies, please contact Mrs. Custance at [email protected] or 410-751-3610.

Together We Own It is hosting a Back to School Bash tomorrow, Friday, August 27th from 4-6pm!!

Lots of opportunities to participate in National Night Out tomorrow night!

Tomorrow night, Tuesday, August 3rd is National Night Out. This annual event enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement as a community. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together for fellowship and interaction.

This year National Night Out in Carroll County will be held in multiple locations county wide in your communities. Please take the time to visit with your neighbors and law enforcement.

The events will include food, drinks, demonstrations, games, giveaways, and more from the police and fire departments throughout the county.
