Operating as usual
Congratulations to the following students for passing their Certificated SOLIDWORKS Advanced Sheet Metal Professional (CSWPA-SM):
Carter Black
Jeremy Forbes
Morgan Geelhaar
Sarah Lippy
Brandon Mahosky
Isaac Mazur
Mark Palmquist
Mike Spangler
Joe Spitzer
We want to extend a big congratulations to current students Giovanni Cimmino & Thomas Milnes for passing their SOLIDWORKS CAD Design Professional (CSWP) exam!

STUDENT WORK:
In our DFAB106 Intro to 3D Scanning course students moved forward in their Reverse Engineering assignment, from their CAD models and generated a series of scaled 3D prints in the new MakerBot Method X printers for final approval by our Nursing Department.
STUDENT WORK:
Earlier this semester students in DFAB102 DIGITAL SCULPTING used Autodesk Mudbox to generate a character or asset that they created. Here is a sample of their work sculptured and painted in a turntable video.
Tomorrow starts FINALS WEEK, best of luck to all on your finals!
Hope everyone had a great last week of classes. Next week is Finals Week!

STUDENT WORK:
From DFAB100: Drawing Techniques for Designers. The Cube: Final Drawings.
With this project students were asked to complete two 18"x24" drawings of 6 cubes using their own cube creations, in a vertical and horizontal orientation, each with 2 vanishing points, one they could add values to.

This Saturday is Carroll Community College's WINTER MARKET
If you attend make sure to check out the tables of Professor Gore and Professor Hannum.
Winter Market Enjoy fun family activities and shop for a wide variety of gifts & services from local small businesses, Carroll art faculty & students in our magical Winter Market! Thank you to our Winter Market Sponsors Saturday, December 149 a.m. – 1 p.m. Featuring Food Trucks Vendors

STUDENTS WORKING:
A few weeks ago the students in DFAB106: Intro to 3D Scanning met with our partner, the Nursing Department, for our reverse engineering project to share their model files and get pointers about what to do with them before we 3D print.

Next week 12/16 - 12/20 is Finals Week
