💃 FACE Class Spotlight: Elements of Dance 🩰

Does your child love to move, create, and express themselves through dance? Elements of Dance is the perfect class to build confidence, creativity, and a love for movement!

Throughout the year, students will explore a variety of dance styles while learning how movement can be used to tell stories, express emotions, and build strong technique in a fun, encouraging environment.

✨ Students will explore styles such as:
🩰 Ballet
🎷 Jazz
🌊 Contemporary
🎧 Hip-Hop
🤸 Acro
…and more!

Students won’t just learn choreography—they’ll also have opportunities to contribute their own creative ideas and even help create original dances throughout the year.

🎭 As a special finale, students will perform a dance during FACE’s end-of-year ceremonies!

Ready to take the next step in high school math?

Algebra 2 helps students build a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts through the Math-U-See curriculum. Rather than simply memorizing formulas, students learn why math works, strengthening the skills they’ll need for higher-level math and science courses.

📚 Students will explore topics such as:
📊 Ratios & Proportions
➕ Systems of Equations
🌀 Imaginary Numbers
📈 Motion Problems
🔷 Conic Sections
…and much more!

Students will complete one lesson each week, along with practice assignments, quizzes, projects, and take-home tests. Families will also receive support throughout the week if questions come up while working at home.

🧪 Planning to take Chemistry too? Ms. Cristal can adjust the lesson order so the math aligns with concepts students are learning in Chemistry.

Whether your student needs help understanding difficult concepts, staying on track with their curriculum, or simply benefits from one-on-one instruction, Math Tutoring provides personalized support tailored to their individual needs.

Unlike a traditional math class, students work through their own math curriculum while receiving individualized guidance from Ms. Cristal. Parents remain in charge of grading and coursework, while the teacher provides instruction, encouragement, and help with challenging concepts.

At FACE, students find engaging classes, meaningful friendships, and a supportive homeschool community. Parents also receive help planning credits, building strong transcripts, and preparing their students for graduation and life beyond high school.

Need help with foreign languages or public speaking? Don’t want to relearn Algebra just to help your teenager succeed? Our high school classes give students the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable teachers, explore new interests, and connect with other homeschoolers.
