Furyukan Dojo

The FuRyuKan Dojo focuses on the study of Japanese martial arts. Our primary focus is on Japanese sword arts, specifically iaido, battojutsu, and kenjutsu.
The Furyukan Dojo teaches both Ko-ryū or "old style" and gendai, or "modern" sword arts. Our Dojo teaches the study of martial arts with the Japanese sword called Iaido. Within Iaido there are many styles, or Ryu. Furyukan Iaido Dojo teaches a koryu (old style) of Iaido called Shin Shin Ryu.

The furyukan dojo demonstrates at the may 16 2026 Swordfest. Enjoying the budo spirit with the rest of the sword community and having fun meeting and greeting new kenshi as well old friends.
