Our experiment worked!
We left one radish in the garden to see if it would seed and it sure did!!!!!
Each pod contains at least a few seeds. We will be giving most of them away after Labor Day weekend. If you are interested in growing radishes in the spring look for our update on when to come collect FREE seeds.
We may also have some children’s books available as well 💜

Day 2 of PBL training in Wayne-Westland!!!
This Cohort of teachers spent today with LEGO Education Trainers learning what all LEGO Education can do. To see how a group of non coders dug in and not only had a blast, but learned the basics of coding was bringing smiles to faces and the excitement when something worked, the will power to keep trying, and the ideas 💡 that sparked for their classrooms as the day went on was powerful.
I can not wait to see where this group takes this learning with their students!!!!

Today some of our teachers came into the STEM Center and learned more about Project-Based Learning and how we can engage our students with hands-on learning while applying their learning to real world problems!
Can’t wait to see it in action!

We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back home and use this learning opportunity with our students!

A group of Wayne-Westland staff were invited to Fort Worth, Texas by Smart Factory Believers and Deloitte University to participate in STEM learning. We are so thankful for the opportunity and for them to sponsor us for the next 3 years to come learn, grow, and implement our learning with students.
Day 1 of 3!!!!!

We have something eating away at our tomato plants and pumpkin vines but we have some beautiful wildflowers growing….. even saw 2 butterflies!!!!🦋

The STEM Center held a district contest to design a doghouse for Rotor. Then with the help of hard working staff and students at William D Ford, the blueprint became a reality for Rotor!!!!
The winning designer was from
Stevenson Middle School.
