🇺🇸 Remembering September 11th 🇺🇸

Tomorrow, we pause to remember September 11, 2001, a day that changed the course of history and left an unforgettable mark on our nation. ❤️🤍💙

Today, we took some time with our students to remember. We colored pictures of the American flag 🇺🇸 and talked about what a hero means to us. Each student had the opportunity to write about who they consider a hero and the people who have made a difference in their lives.

Tomorrow, we will have a few class discussions about the brave first responders, firefighters, police officers, military members, and everyday people who showed incredible courage, kindness, and selflessness that day and in the days to come.

Most importantly, we will remind our students that while we remember the tragedy, we can also remember the strength, unity, courage, and compassion that came from it.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🕊️🇺🇸

We’re kicking off VIP by the Numbers at Westlake High School!

All across CPSB, students are using VIP to expand their course options, earn college credit, and get a head start on what comes next. We’re excited to highlight what that looks like at each of our schools!

🌾 Westlake High School Rice Cook-Off Results! 🌾
We are so proud of all the students who competed in today’s Westlake High School Rice Cook-Off! Everyone brought their A-game, and the dishes were incredible. Please join us in celebrating our 2026 winners:

🥇 1st Place: Kyra, Surf & Turf Balls
🥈 2nd Place: Bailey, Crawfish in a Priogue
🥉 3rd Place: Isabella, Honey Garlic Chicken Over Rice AND Claira, Rice Dressing

A special shoutout to Kyra for taking home the 1st place title for the second year in a row! 🏆🏆 What an amazing achievement!
