Westside Christian Academy is an inter-denominational classical Christian school, PreK - 12, in Cleveland’s western suburb of Westlake. We have high academic expectations and our classical methodology includes an emphasis on foundational knowledge (grammar stage), logic, rhetoric, Latin, humanities and the arts, all taught with a biblical worldview.

On behalf of the senior class of 2026, we invite you to their thesis presentations this Thursday & Friday - April 16 & 17. Senior thesis is WCA's capstone project reflecting a true synthesis of learning that each has been blessed with in his or her time here. You are likely to see evidence of deep thinking, wrestling with the reality of living in a fallen world, and growing hope in and obedience to the truth of scripture. Meet Mrs. Kristen Zuccola, our Upper School Dean of Women and Rhetoric Teacher. Mrs. Zuccola has an extensive teaching background in the public and private sector, including ten years at WCA. She and her husband, Jon, sent all four of their, now adult kids to WCA. Kristen and Jon have been married almost 30 years, and recently welcomed their first granddaughter.

Mrs. Zuccola appreciates all that is done at WCA – teaching, learning, worshipping, playing, studying – is all done to the glory of God! She is grateful for the shepherding, wise counsel, and love poured into each of her children.

We are so grateful for Mrs. Zuccola and the way she genuinely loves and invests in each of our students!

Meet Ms. Emma Fischer, one of our first grade teachers!!

Miss Fischer is a Rocky River native, and passionate about Classical Christian Education. From a young age, God gave Miss Fischer opportunities to work in teaching positions, which instilled in her a God-given passion for education. She was drawn to WCA through our emphasis on great books, art, music, and the freedom to teach the truth of God’s Word. Miss Fischer loves how WCA provides an environment for beautiful teaching and relationship building.
