Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley GREAT FUTURES START HERE! In addition, we operate a Club on the campus of Sequoia Middle School in Newbury Park which opened its doors in August 2007.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley currently has nine Clubs operating in Thousand Oaks at Los Cerritos Middle School, which opened in January 2004, Colina Middle School, which opened its doors in June 2007 and Redwood Middle School, which opened its doors in August 2007. Our newest addition includes Club Chaparral on the campus of Chaparral Elementary in Calabasas, which opened their doors in August 2009. Our Clubs are located on middle school campuses on a long-term lease and joint use agreement with school districts. There are plans to open additional facilities on middle school campuses throughout the Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks areas in the next few years. The Clubs provide time-tested programs that offer leadership training and character development programs, as well as programs in the arts, technology, sports, and health and fitness.

We've got new courts and more ways to play! 🏀 Club members at the Notter Club and Morton Club now have newly refreshed multi-sport courts featuring lines for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball.

This was made possible through a City of Thousand Oaks - Local Government Grant, with hands-on support from PureSpectrum and Morton Wealth. PureSpectrum painted the Notter Club court as part of its Annual Global Week of Giving, volunteered during Summer Camp, and provided 10 camperships for local kids. Morton Wealth helped paint the Morton Club court and continued their long-standing support through our Money Matters financial literacy program and annual Gala.

We’re grateful for our community partners who invest in spaces where Club kids can stay active, build confidence, make friends, and have fun. 💙

Safety first at Summer Camp! ❤️ The American Red Cross visited our campers for a hands-on lesson in CPR and emergency preparedness. Members practiced important safety skills and learned how to stay calm, respond, and help others during an emergency. Youth voices are leading the way! 🌟 Jessica recently traveled to Atlanta to kick off her term on Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Youth Advisory Council, joining 11 other young leaders from across the country.

Together, the council will share their perspectives, represent Club youth nationwide, and help shape conversations that affect the next generation. We’re incredibly proud to see Jessica bring her voice, leadership, and Club experience to the national stage! ❤️

🚒 Firehouse 89 rolled into Camp Discover for a special summer visit!

Our campers explored the fire truck up close, learned important fire safety skills, and got a firsthand look at how firefighters help keep our community safe.

🎉 Our campers celebrated summer with a block party that included face painting, games, crafts, screen printing, friendly competitions, dancing, and music from a live DJ. Our members were able to get creative, connect with each other, and make lasting summer memories.

A special visit from Metro K9 213 brought hands-on learning to camp! 🐾🚓

Our youth are helping shape the conversation about America's future! 🇺🇸

Esha, our Greater Conejo Valley Youth of the Year, and Jessica, our Catlin Club Youth of the Year and National Youth Advisory Council member, had the opportunity to sit down with Congresswoman Julia Brownley to share what America 250 means to them.

What happens when young people use social media to raise awareness? 🤳

As part of this year's Torch Club National Project, Notter Club members explored "The Hidden Crisis: Addressing Youth Homelessness in Our Communities." They created mock social media posts designed to educate others about the realities of youth homelessness and the resources available to help.

From researching facts and statistics to developing creative content, members took the lead in turning awareness into action. Their project demonstrates how youth can use their voices and the platforms they know best to spark important conversations and create positive change.
