Oaks Christian School

Last Thursday, Pizza in the Park brought our grade 6 through 8 families together for an evening of connection, games, and meeting the amazing staff at Oaks. Our student ambassadors did a fantastic job welcoming new families, answering questions, and helping everyone feel right at home. It was a great start to building community for the year ahead.

Congratulations to High School French Teacher Robert Schaffer for receiving the 2026 Atsinger Teaching Excellence Award! Established by longtime OCS board member Ed Atsinger and his wife, Mona, the honor recognizes exceptional middle and high school faculty.

Picnic in the Park for our new grades TK-3 and their families last Tuesday was a beautiful way to welcome our youngest Lions to the Oaks Christian School community! 🦁💛 The night was filled with laughter, freeze dancing, games, and the start of many new friendships. We cannot wait to watch these students grow and blossom throughout their time at OCS.

Today is the first day of summer school session 1 at Oaks Christian! We are excited to welcome everyone joining us for a season of learning, creativity, and fun. Wishing all of you a safe, joyful, and fantastic summer ahead!

Today kicks off our first week of Sports Camps at Oaks Christian! ⚽🏀🏈 We are excited to welcome athletes from all over as they build skills, make friends, and have an amazing time on the field and in the gym. Wishing everyone a fun, active, and safe summer ahead.

Pizza in the Park on Wednesday night was the perfect mix of food, fun, and community. 🍕💬 Grade 4 and 5 families met teachers, asked questions, and enjoyed time together while students played and connected. Our student ambassadors did an amazing job welcoming new families and sharing what life at Oaks Christian is all about.

Congratulations to our seniors who proudly showed off their school spirit on Tuesday at College Decision Day and the tailgate party. It was wonderful to see them representing their future schools with pride. We are incredibly proud of each of you and wish you the very best as you begin this next chapter of your journey.

After the fifth grade Celebration of Achievement, the fun continued with a lively pool party to kick off summer. Whether it was pool noodle fights and games, swimming, diving, or noshing at the buffet of food, grades 4 and 5 students enjoyed a fantastic end of year celebration. The beloved annual countdown to summer made the day even more memorable. It was the perfect way to wrap up a year of growth, friendship, and joy.

Our grade 5 students marked an exciting milestone at yesterday's Celebration of Achievement, where every student was recognized with a certificate of achievement honoring their hard work and accomplishments throughout the year. A special congratulations to Olivia E. and Katherine W., two of the handful of students who received academic awards for their outstanding dedication and excellence in English language arts and science. Additional awards were given in Bible, math and history. Also pictured are Charlie L., Cami S., and Cora M. We are so proud of all that our students have achieved!
