We are heading into midterms and finals, which means it’s time to create a study plan.
Start by entering your exam dates and project due dates into your calendar. Highlight them so they stand out!
Next, you should print out your study guides..yep, you heard me. PRINT! Your teachers and professors have taken the time to create them...use them!
Preview each study guide, marking everything you know with confidence with a green dot, the things you need to work on or reference notes for with a yellow dot, and the things you really don’t understand with a red (or pink) dot.
Schedule office hours with your teachers or professors so you can ask all your questions and clarify what’s confusing you.
Stay tuned for what comes next!

Comment GUIDE and we’ll send our 15-Minute Weekly Reset to get you started.
Lainie was interviewed by Megan Pinchback of Dyslexia on Demand and Eryn Yolac of Advocate to Educate on their Podcast, “Don’t Call On Me: The Dyslexia Podcast”. Link in bio to listen to the full episode.
Getting the most out of lectures:
It’s all about previewing and reviewing. Take time before class to preview the lecture slides that are posted and actively read the assigned reading, too.
This will prepare you for what you’re about to learn.
After class, take 5-15 minutes to review your lecture notes, filling in anything you missed earlier and making a note of any questions you need clarified during office hours.
