🎉 **Celebrating Back to School & Student Growth at WPS!** 🎉

What a great way to kick off a new school year! Today, we celebrated our students and the incredible growth they showed last year—including an amazing **20 percentage-point increase in ELA proficiency!**

This achievement represents the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support of our families. We are so proud of the progress being made at Westhope Public School and excited to keep that momentum going in 2026–2027!

A special **shout-out and thank you to Lulabelles and the Pearson Grant** for supporting our school and helping make this celebration possible. We are grateful for community partners who invest in our students and celebrate their success alongside us!

Westhope Public School Families,

You should have received an email on Friday, August 7, from [email protected] with instructions for creating your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account.

If you have not seen the email, please check your junk or spam folder, as some messages may have been filtered there.

If you did not receive an email, it may mean that your email address did not transfer correctly into Infinite Campus. Please contact Kim Zettell or Christy Lee with the email address you would like associated with your account. We can update your information and help you receive the Parent Portal setup instructions.

If you are able to access the Parent Portal but notice information that is incorrect or that you are unable to update, please contact Kim Zettell or Christy Lee with the details so we can work on getting it corrected.

Annual Registration & Meal Benefits

Once you have access to Campus Parent, all WPS families are asked to complete the Annual Online Registration for the 2026–2027 school year. This should be completed for both returning and new students.

Families are also encouraged to complete the Meal Benefit Application to see if your household qualifies for free or reduced-price meals.

To access the Meal Benefit Application, select More from the left-hand menu in Campus Parent, then select Meal Benefits and complete the application.

Thank you for your patience as we continue our transition to Infinite Campus. We appreciate everyone taking the time to get their accounts set up and complete these important back-to-school items!

It's time to complete your final registration for the 2026-2027 school year!

If you are entering 9th-12th grade, please stop by the school to finalize your schedule, confirm your classes, and make sure you're ready for the first day of school.

This is your opportunity to:
✅ Review your class schedule
✅ Make any final schedule adjustments
✅ Ensure all registration requirements are complete
✅ Start the school year prepared!

Can't make it on August 4? No problem! Please stop by the school on another day before school starts or call the office to schedule a time that works for you.

As of June 30, PowerSchool is no longer active as Westhope Public School transitions to Infinite Campus, North Dakota's new student information system.

Infinite Campus is expected to be available toward the end of July. Once the system is live, families will receive step-by-step instructions on how to create their Campus Parent account and access student information.

We understand that transitioning to a new system is an adjustment for everyone. Our staff has been working hard to prepare for this change and make the transition as smooth as possible. We appreciate your patience and support as we move to Infinite Campus and will continue to share updates as they become available.

Thank you for your understanding as we begin this exciting new chapter.

Yesterday, Westhope Public School's own Chelsea Blada was recognized at the North Dakota State Capitol as the Bottineau County Teacher of the Year, a well-deserved honor for an educator who makes an incredible difference in the lives of students every single day.
