🎹 **A New Beginning**

As our family moved from Massachusetts to Missouri, I’m closing a very special chapter of Wendy Music Studio.

These past few weeks have been filled with so many emotions. During our final lessons, I received so many thoughtful cards, gifts, handmade treasures, hugs, and sweet words from my students and their families. Reading each card and seeing the love behind every little gift truly brought tears to my eyes.

It has been such a privilege to watch each child grow—not only as a pianist, but in confidence, creativity, perseverance, and love for music. I will miss our weekly lessons, the conversations, the laughter, and all the little musical moments we shared together.

To all of my students and families, thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be part of your musical journey. I hope you will continue to play, explore, create, and most importantly, always keep your love for music. Please stay in touch—I would truly love to hear where music takes each of you.

Wendy Music Studio will be taking a little pause while our family settles into our new life in Missouri. Once everything is settled, the studio will begin again—a new home, a new chapter, but the same love for teaching and sharing music. ❤️

Massachusetts, thank you for all the beautiful memories.

🎹What a busy and exciting weekend for Wendy Music Studio!

Last weekend, several of our students participated in three different piano competitions. While we are still waiting for many of the results to be announced, we are already celebrating some wonderful achievements.

We are especially proud of Erin, who performed in the Second Round Winners Recital at the beautiful Rockport Music Hall. Erin delivered an outstanding performance and was awarded First Place! 🏆

✨Congratulations, Erin! Your hard work, dedication, and musical artistry continue to inspire us all.

We are also incredibly proud of every student who stepped onto the stage this weekend. Performing and competing takes courage, preparation, and perseverance. We look forward to sharing more exciting results as they become available!

I'm so proud to celebrate every student who participated in the National Federation Piano Festival this year! Your hard work, dedication, and love for music truly shined. 🌟

I'm thrilled to share that all of our participating students received the highest honor — Superior Rating! 👏
Among them, several students achieved the outstanding distinctions of Superior+ and even Superior++ — an incredible accomplishment that reflects not only musical excellence, but also perseverance and passion. 🎶💖

A very special congratulations goes to the students who earned the highest ratings for three consecutive years and were awarded a beautiful trophy for their achievement! 🏆 Your consistency, commitment, and growth inspire us all.

Behind every performance are countless hours of practice, courage, patience, and support from families. I'm deeply grateful to our students and parents for being part of the Wendy Music Studio family. Watching each student grow in confidence and artistry is the greatest joy and reward. 🌷

What a beautiful weekend at the Wendy Music Studio Student Piano Recital! 🎹✨

I am so proud of all 35 young performers who participated. Each student shared a piece they personally loved, and it was wonderful to hear their hard work, courage, creativity, and joy through the music.

Our program included a wonderful variety of music — from Classical to Romantic and Impressionist pieces, from movie soundtracks to students’ own original compositions.

Thank you to all the families and friends who came to support and celebrate with us. Your warm applause and encouragement made the day even more special.

My longtime student, Annie, has been awarded a Camp Scholarship of $400 in a 2026 piano competition, and has been invited to perform and receive her award at the Winners Concert at UMSL.

I’ve had the privilege of watching Annie grow through music from her elementary school days all the way to high school. Seeing her dedication, perseverance, and love for music blossom over the years is truly moving.

Moments like this remind me why I love teaching so much. Congratulations, Annie — this is so well deserved, and I can’t wait to see where your musical journey takes you next 🎹✨
