HAPPY MOTHERS DAY 👩🏻TO THE BEST MOM IN THE ENTIRE WORLD 😃😃!! Because of you, I am who I am today, a hard working, driven, ambitious, young man 👦🏻who is passionate about teaching Dynamic Intelligence to other Autistic Individuals and parents of Autistic Children 👶. I really love ❤️ going to the shows with you, meeting new people, and spreading the word about our RDI and Dynamic Intelligence Program, and just hanging out with you in general. This Month is Mental Health Acceptance Month and I want to talk about Autism and Mental Health. Autism affects mental health, particularly the well being and quality of life amongst Autistic Individuals as you can see in the statistics above. Educate yourself and make sure that any interventions you use address mental health, good quality of life, and well being for Autistic Individuals. For me, doing the Dynamic Intelligence program helps me understand that I can learn from my mistakes and that I can change my current situation if things aren’t working out the way that I want them to. I know that I am not a burden and that I can be successful. I know how to set goals and achieve them, I know how to plan and prepare for future situations and deal with them accordingly, and I know how to make sense of my past experiences so that I can learn meaningful lessons from them. Knowing all of this helps me attain the well being that I deserve and what every other Autistic Individual deserves. Dynamic Intelligence is also needed for a good quality of life and success, not just static intelligence because life is always changing and we as Autistic Individuals need to adapt with the changing world we live in.

Racism Happens every single day of our lives and it’s hard to deal with on a regular basis. Just like how it’s hard to deal with George Floyd’s death and all of the civil unrest which followed after the unfortunate death of this man and the injustice that was done to him. Everyone should know that I support police but I also support equality for all people, and yes, this does include black people like George Floyd, who didn’t deserve to be treated like absolute garbage like how George Floyd was treated by those Minneapolis Police Officers 👮‍♀️ who really don’t deserve to be on the force. I have also come to realize that we live in a society which systematically privileges white people over minorities and that’s a problem and maybe that’s why the town I live in, a wealthy and affluent town in NJ, is mostly white, and that most crime riddled towns are filled with minorities. I definitely would love to bridge the gap between racism between white and black people by making black people feel more acceptance and less fearful of the cops, less marginalized by white people, and get along with everyone again. I’m also hopeful that the future would bring more equality to black people everywhere, and this includes communities, workplaces, schools, and everything else and that we could see less deadly interactions between black civilians and white police officers 👮‍♀️. So RIP George Floyd, there will be a brighter future ahead for of all of us!! We’re in it together and respect ✊!!

I hope you all had a very wonderful Christmas like I did. The Holidays can be an extremely stressful time for myself and others on the Autism Spectrum. These challenges can include dealing with difficult family members, changing and unpredictable shopping or traveling schedules, or crowds of people coming in and out of the environment. However, although the holidays are challenging, it’s still important to remember what it’s all about, spending time with family and spreading holiday cheer because no matter what, our family loves us unconditionally and will be on our rock forever ♾. So it’s very important to enjoy 😉 spending time with family while we all can regardless of all of the challenges we face during this time of year, and every year we have family gatherings because they love us unconditionally and that will never change. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do, or define your worth.
You can do whatever your heart desires if you set the intention and work hard to achieve the goal.

You see, I love helping shelter dogs with whatever they need whether it is giving them a good walk, playing with them, teaching them basic obedience, or even ADOPTING them like the one in this photo.

I was told that I should stop walking shelter dogs because I am ‘ruining’ them, but I knew my heart was in the right place by walking these dogs, giving them the much needed love and attention they need.

I could just be like most people and spend my free time just thinking about myself and doing whatever I wanted to do for me. But I care enough about these dogs to try and make their lives easier giving them what they need.

So, I started to think about, “What do I need to do to get this dog?” And I started picturing myself and the new dog, just manifesting the new dog, I knew that I could contribute financially to the new dog because I worked two jobs. And then lo and behold, we got her!!

The BEAUTIFUL Coonhound Mix named Honey!! And that’s living proof that anyone with Autism can do whatever they want, including doing something as rewarding as adopting a shelter dog!!
