One of our students had a very productive week tracing, push pinning, and taping each of the pink cubes in our classroom. She used an entire roll of tape and about nine sheets of pink paper to complete her project. She is now proudly displaying her work in the classroom for her friends to see.

The Pink Tower, also known as the Tower of Cubes, is a well-loved material in many Montessori classrooms and a favorite among the children. With its signature pink color, true to Maria Montessori’s original design, the material represents the mathematical concept of cubes, from the smallest cube representing 1³ to the largest representing 10³.

Our preschool community is wrapping one of our families in love as they face an incredibly heartbreaking chapter. Their dad is in the final stages of his battle with cancer, and the family is focusing on spending meaningful time together while navigating overwhelming emotional and financial stress.
