Dan Kane of Massachusetts Maritime has been named the 2026 Male-Scholar Athlete of the Year after concluding his outstanding men's lacrosse career for the Buccaneers. The award is voted on by the Athletic Directors around the conference.

Following a stellar diving career for Bridgewater State, Cailey Simard was named the 2026 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Female Scholar-Athlete, which is voted on by the Athletic Directors from around the league.

Congratulations to Commissioner Angela Baumann who received her 20 years of service award this morning at the D3CA meetings in Indianapolis. She is the conference’s first female and full time commissioner!

Westfield State to become the first school in the to sponsor flag football at the varsity level. It is anticipated that the Owls will play as a club sport in the spring of 2027, and the varsity level in the spring of 2028.
