Just finished my field mouse example for Week 3 of summer kids’ workshops and got him outside for some R&R in the sun! ☀️

Summer workshops are quickly approaching (yay!!) and many are sold out (thank you!!). If you’re still looking for something fun for kids and teens this summer, check out our MWF workshops.

Week of July 27th — *JUST ADDED*
Lemonade Stand (am) — paint tumbler cups, stamp tea towels & make lemon slime!

Birthday Bash (pm) — decorate faux 3D cakes, create a birthday banner, mini piñatas, and origami star confetti

Week of August 10th
Autumn Hike (am) — needle-felted field mice, papier mâché mushrooms, and embroidered leaves

Winter Slopes (pm) — knit hats, paint a 3D snowy scene & candle making

Ages 12+

Week of July 13th
* 1 space left * Charcoal Intensive (am) — create large scale, show-stopping works. Learn to use an adapted grid method to enlarge images and render them with a high level of realism in charcoal.

Week of August 3rd
Felting Intensive (am) — dive deep into felting with this workshop that combines wet felting, needle felting and embroidery techniques to create hangable works of art on embroidery hoops.

**Open Studio Hours (pm) — dedicated studio time for artists to work on what they’d like. This is a bring-your-own supply time, great for artists who want the time and freedom to work on what they’d like with as much or as little guidance as desired.

Spent a lovely afternoon with this fine group of women celebrating Cheyenne’s engagement! All came in feeling a little nervous about painting and all did incredible masterpieces despite any nerves! Congratulations Cheyenne! Thanks for painting with me!

Such a strong group of friends (sans a few who couldn’t make the impromptu paint party)…this group is there for each other when one is having a hard time…they ‘kidnap’ the recipient for a day of fun and activity that the recipient doesn’t have to think about - all is taken care of for their escape: child care and all activity paid for and planned by the rest of the group.
We all could use friends like these! The subject was ‘silly goose, you’re coming with us!’🪿
