What a FUN and inspiring Professional Development Day at Roots Learning Center!! 💧

Today, staff from all four of our locations came together to explore “wondrus water” and all the creative, hands-on ways we can bring it into our classrooms! Mother Nature even joined us for the adventure!

We experimented, explored, and got a little messy—✨ Traced puddles with chalk to see if they’d shrink🧊 Tried (and some succeeded!) to keep ice cubes from melting ALL day outside 🤯💡 Worked in teams to filter water using both man-made materials and items found in nature

Our innovative, curious teachers truly impressed us with their creativity and problem-solving!

Days like today remind us how powerful hands-on learning can be for both educators and the children we teach ❤️

Today, 11 of our teachers from Roots Learning Center headed to Boston for the Playtopia Professional Development Day—and we’re so proud to have RLC represented ❤️

They spent the day learning, sharing ideas, and getting inspired together—things we know will show up in all the little moments back in the classroom.

We’re so lucky to have a team that’s always willing to learn, grow, and try new things ! ✨🌱

Root road had a special visitor today for their community helper week! ❤️

Such a great PD day! We usually do these together, but this time we really focused on meaningful collaboration across age groups — sharing what works, lesson planning, and talking through ideas for upcoming lessons. Being together and strengthening our team helps make us all better at our jobs.

80s outfits, a murder mystery that was actually a blast (thank you Murder Mystery Club!), amazing food from Log Cabin, and of course a Shirley Temple bar 🍒🕵️‍♀️🎶 Our team works so hard, and days like this matter.

🌱 Now Enrolling: Infant Program – East Longmeadow 🌱

We’re excited to share that we currently have a full-time infant opening at our East Longmeadow location. Openings like this are rare, and we encourage interested families to reach out as soon as possible.

Snowflakes, giggles, and rosy cheeks ❄️🩵💚The snow arrived yesterday, but the fun happened today and our little ones soaked up every moment! Oh, to be a kid again!❄️
