WHS Westfield Sr. High School - NJ Class of 1968 Reunion

A WHS class of 1968 classmate of ours, George Jennings, passed away suddenly on March 29th, 2026 at his home in Tom's River, NJ, at the age of 75. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Diane Jennings.

George was a long time resident of Westfield attending all Westfield schools until his WHS graduation. George was also an Eagle Scout from BSA Troop 273.
He was a graduate of Seton Hall University. George worked most of his career in the Union County Division of Human Services as a welfare officer.

George moved to Tom's River in 2014. He had a great sense of humor and was often described as "the life of the party" by his many friends and his family.

George had many interests including travel, and sports and was an avid NY Giants and NY Mets fan. In lieu of flowers, etc., please donate to the charity of your choice in memory of George.
He will be greatly missed. A private funeral is being planned by the family.

Yesterday, we lost another dear friend and classmate, Ray Cuzzolino, who passed away after a long battle with cancer. He was a great guy, and a dear friend of many, always known for good stories, a great laugh, highly interested in various types of music, sports, and outdoor activities, and also was a good family man. He was a member of the WHS marching band, and kept in active touch with many classmates and friends.

A service with be held on Monday, August 19th at the Hillsboro Funeral Home in Hillsboro, NJ at 3 PM after visitation at the same location from 1 to 3 pm.

Ray is survived by his wife, Bonnie Cuzolino, daughters Alison, Megan, and Jillian, his mother, Janet Cuzzolino, brothers Rob, Wayne, and Greg, sister Diane, and their families.

Thomas "Tem" Murray passed earlier this year. He would have graduated in '68, but moved to Ohio before our senior year. Many of us went through elementary, junior high [Edison], and WHS with him.

Charles Addams (1912-1988), the famous cartoonist, was born and raised in Westfield, New Jersey.

Who would've thought ...??? This is a fire engine from our hometown of Westfield, NJ, from 1922 (!) and it is now in a museum in Hague, Netherlands! I'd love to know the story of its travels to that museum!!! Wow!!
