Coming soon to a Holy Trinity Runway…our 8th graders have been hard at work in Ms. Vaccaro’s Art Room using some “unconventional materials” (it’s like a very own Project Runway, but without the stress)! The kids brought in many used and recyclable supplies (think: marker caps, playing cards, buttons, bubble wrap, pool noodles, etc.); they had to sketch out their designs and then use hot glue, duct tape, electrical tape, zip ties, tarps…anything that’ll hold their items together! We can’t wait to see the finished product on our runway sometime in December! Stay tuned! 💙🧵🪡 💛

It’s that time of year: our 27th Annual Walk for Mom will take place on Sunday, October 25th at 9 am in Nomahegan Park in Cranford!

If you’re new this year, you might be wondering, “What is this all about?!” If you haven’t been lucky enough to meet him yet, let us explain! Mr. Dursee is a proud HT Alum/amazing Dad/beloved husband to Mrs. Dursee/all-around great guy. He began this walk way back in 1999 to honor his mother, Charlotte. She courageously battled breast cancer and was the proud mom of 6 HT alumni & the loving grandmother to 4 HT alumni!

The proceeds from this event go towards the HTS “Bridge The Gap Fund.” This helps families who are experiencing financial challenges to continue their pursuit of Catholic education for their children.

Let’s come together as a community to support this wonderful HT tradition! You can get your steps in, the kids can get out some energy, and guess what? You can sleep in the next day (10/26 is a day off)! See you all there! Click the link below to sign up!

Another full week of school, another pair of perfectly poised 2nd graders leading us in prayer before lunch! Eleanor and Samantha got right down to business like they’ve been doing this their whole lives; it’s amazing that it’s their first go around for the year!

And it might’ve been a full week this week, but don’t forget: next Monday is a day off! Happy Columbus Day and we are wishing all of our families a nice LONG weekend! 💙 🙏🏼 💛

It’s a long weekend, which means an extra day off and LOTS OF SALES! Don’t forget to pick up some socks to help our 5th graders with their SOCK-TOBER event! They need NEW socks for men, women, and children! Bins are located in our Main Lobby and in the 2nd floor hallway. Grab a pair and help bring some warmth & happiness to those in need! 💙🧦💛

It is always a BOO-u-tiful afternoon when you get to take pictures of the kindergarten classes and their 7th grade buddies! They made “puffy” ghosts using cotton balls and Elmer’s glue; the big kids had to carefully spread the cotton balls apart, while the littles glued them down. It was a fun little project, but the best part was seeing the joy in these kids’ faces (young and old)! 💙👻💛

We want to give you plenty of lead time to prepare: our annual PINK OUT PEP RALLY is scheduled for Friday October 23rd! And it’s also a PINK DRESS DOWN DAY! Make sure your child comes dressed for school in PINK l, along with a $1 minimum donation! The money goes to METAvivor, the country’s only nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to funding metastatic breast cancer research! It’s our first Dress Down Day for the 2026-27 school year, so let’s make sure it’s a great one! 🩷🏐🩷

Close your eyes…when was the last time you were downright GIDDY about doing math? If you have a 1st grader, that answer would be today, at about 10:40 am! The excitement was truly in the air as Mrs. Meyer passed out not one, but two different colored dice. Then, armed with their worksheets and their pencils, they rolled one color die and then the other….and then had to add up the two numbers. The pure glee of them noticing the various patterns, the number of times they added up to the same number, the realization that different numbers can add up to the same number, rolling doubles…it was pure math joy! 💙🥹💛

The kids learned about apples and how each animal is connected to this yummy fruit…all while Gilbert the donkey calmly grazed on the grass! Our Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 classes helped to make some apple c***r (don’t worry parents, the kids sampled the packaged gallon of apple c***r gifted to us by Farmer Ryan; the stuff they made wasn’t filtered or pasteurized!) — and even the teachers joined in. They were able to pet the animals and ask questions. It was truly a perfect morning for some autumn fun! 💙🍎🫏🐰🦆🐖🐓🍎💛 Quiver Farm Projects

from Quiver Farms Projects in Pennsylvania and are currently residing in Mrs. W’s Pre-K 3 classroom! 🥹 We appreciate Mrs. W welcoming all classes the opportunity to visit — and her graciously taking care of them over the weekends they are here! 💙🐰🐰💛

Friday was our first gathering of our Faith Families! For all of our new families, this takes place after our monthly School Mass; kindergarten through 8th grade are assigned 1 of 17 different Faith Families all around the school. The kids get to meet other students (and teachers!) and spend an hour learning about a facet of our faith!

This month, our 8th grade homeroom teachers Mrs. Abood & Mrs. Dursee focused on ways in which we can all be peacemakers. The “families” discussed symbols of peace and brainstormed ways in which we can bring peace to those around us. Each child had “olives” to write their name on, in addition to a word that resonated with them to bring peace to their lives. The finished “olive branches” will be hung up in our cafeteria — a reminder for all of us to bring harmony to our days! 💙🫒💛
