Hello, my name is April Kellogg I've been running my in-home Day Care for about 18 years now and have cared for and taught children from their infant years all the way into school ages. I recently updated to a large family Day Care and now have positions open! My license number is 9021288 and my curriculum comes from my own ideas and Funshine Express. I am always doing projects and maintaining daily routines to teach my children ABC's, numbers and counting, colors, shapes, the weather, and more. My kids eat healthy lunches and snacks throughout the day with plenty of playing time in between. When the weather is nice, I love to take the children out to get some fresh air. If we're inside, I will usually have projects lined up for them to do. This past week we made a butterfly net and practiced tracing their letters for review. They learned how to paint using a small plastic cup and made caterpillars! Every morning, we have our circle time where we go over the date, weather, colors, and do some fun exercises! They have lots of fun and still learn some awesome patience by learning to raise their hand when they want to answer a question. If you have any questions for me, feel free to call and ask!
