Natalia Chase Music Hi, I'm Natalia, the Vocal Coach, Artist Developer, and Singer-Songwriter!

Since 2013 I've been helping singers, who are just starting out to recording artists, improve their vocal range, power, agility, consistency, and confidence.

šŸŽ¤ THIS is why Kelly Clarkson’s high notes sound effortless…

There are a few things Kelly does SO well that help those big high notes sound powerful without sounding forced:

* She uses her diaphragm to create power and improve her tone.

* She modifies her vowels to find those open and free sounds instead of fighting the note.

* She uses her mix voice beautifully.

* And she naturally uses something I call a belting slide to help access those higher notes.

The exciting part? These are techniques you can learn too.

If high notes feel strained, unreachable, or inconsistent for you, I’d love to help you learn how to incorporate techniques like these into YOUR voice.

You don’t have to be a prodigy… but you CAN train like one. šŸŽ¤

Struggling to sing the line ā€œI bow down to prayā€ in Lady Gaga’s A Million Reasons? šŸŽ¤

One of the biggest mistakes singers make is trying to jump straight to the higher note instead of connecting the notes with a smooth slide.

In this video, I’ll show you a simple exercise that can help you find a more connected, effortless vocal mix and make that phrase feel much easier to sing.

Give it a try and let me know in the comments if you feel the difference! šŸ‘‡

The best part? You don’t have to be a natural-born singer to train like one. ā¤ļø Many of the techniques used by great singers are learnable skills—and with the right exercises, you can develop them too.

10K. šŸ–¤ And I’m incredibly grateful.

But it’s never really been about the number for me. It’s about the people the number represents—and that means YOU.

Every time one of you tells me a vocal tip helped you sing a little better, something I shared encouraged you to keep going, or a mindset reminder helped you stay consistent, that’s the win I celebrate most.

I’ve chosen to measure success by simply getting to do the work God has called me to do and hopefully making a positive difference in someone’s life along the way.

So thank you for watching, commenting, sharing your stories and celebrating these incredible singers with me. Music can be a long and sometimes lonely journey, and I hope this continues to be a place where we learn, grow and cheer each other on.

Please keep talking back to me. Keep sharing your wins—big AND small. I genuinely love hearing them.

10,000 is encouraging. But the community behind that number is what I’m most grateful for. šŸ–¤šŸŽ¤

Thank you for being here.

šŸŽ¤ Try THIS if this phrase feels impossible…

First of all… how incredible is Demi in this clip? šŸ˜®šŸ”„

That ā€œif happy is herā€ phrase is one that many singers struggle with, so I wanted to share a quick tip that helps:

šŸŽ¤ Sing the first five notes in chest voice.

šŸŽ¤ Then modify your pronunciation to get the most open and free sound possible on the final notes.

Sometimes the breakthrough isn’t singing harder…

It’s learning how to approach the phrase differently.

Now, if you’re thinking, ā€œThat’s great, but I don’t know how to use my chest voice, head voice, mixed voice, or falsetto,ā€ you’re not alone.

Learning how to coordinate the different parts of your voice is one of the biggest breakthroughs a singer can have—and it’s something I teach step-by-step inside my vocal training.

Give it a try and let me know if it helps! šŸ‘‡

You don’t have to be a prodigy…

But you CAN train like one. šŸ–¤

I recorded this almost 4 years ago…and I believe it even more today.

As I was approaching 10 years of coaching singers, I started thinking about the students I’d watched go the furthest with their gifts.

And surprisingly, it wasn’t always the person who started with the most talent.

There was something else they seemed to understand.

If you have a dream for your voice, your music or your life—and sometimes wonder if you have what it takes—I hope you’ll watch this one to the end. šŸ–¤

You don’t have to be the best.

But you DO have to stay in the game.

šŸŽ¤ Great songs usually have THIS in common…

I’ve followed for a while now, and one of the things I appreciate most about her songwriting is that she consistently includes elements that help songs connect with people.

In this song alone, I noticed several things that many memorable songs have in common:

šŸŽ¶ A strong hook that keeps pulling you back in
šŸŽ¶ A story that takes you somewhere
šŸŽ¶ Vivid imagery that helps you see the song, not just hear it

A lot of songwriters tell us how they feel.

Great songwriters often help us see, experience, and feel the story for ourselves.

That’s one of the reasons Emily’s songs tend to stick with people.

As both a vocal coach and songwriter, I’m always paying attention to what makes certain songs memorable, and this is a great example of it šŸ‘šŸ”„

If you’re a songwriter and would like help strengthening your lyrics, hooks, storytelling, or overall songwriting, send me a DM. I’d be happy to point you toward some resources and help you grow in your craft. šŸŽ¶

šŸŽ¤ THIS is what happens when everything works together…

Some singers have great range.

Some have incredible vocal agility.

Some have power.

Some know how to work a stage.

And then there are singers who seem to put it all together.

The vocal control.
The agility.
The power.
The emotion.
The stage presence.

That’s what I hear when I listen to this performance. šŸ‘šŸ”„

As a vocal coach, one of the things I’ve learned is that most singers aren’t usually missing everything.

More often, they have a handful of habits that are helping them and a handful that are holding them back.

The exciting part is that good habits can be learned.

And when singers start replacing limiting habits with stronger techniques, the voice can improve dramatically.

Will we all become the next vocal prodigy?

No.

But every singer has a unique voice and a maximum vocal potential worth pursuing.

And that’s what I’m passionate about helping singers discover.

You don’t have to be a prodigy…

But you CAN train like one. šŸ–¤

šŸŽ¤ Some voices just hit differently…

Honestly, this is one of those performances where I stop analyzing and just listen.

has a way of making even the most difficult songs feel effortless.

The power.
The emotion.
The control.
The connection.

It’s all there.

But what has always stood out to me most is that she makes you FEEL something.

You don’t just hear the song…

You experience it.

And that’s what the greatest singers do.

Also… what a gift CĆ©line has been to music šŸ˜®šŸ”„šŸ–¤

The encouraging part?

You don’t have to be a vocal prodigy to improve dramatically as a singer.

Many of the things gifted singers do naturally can actually be learned and developed.

You don’t have to be a prodigy…

But you CAN train like one.
