Otterbein students are invited to join the fan bus to travel to Chicago, Illinois this weekend to support our Men’s Soccer Team as they advance in the NCAA Tournament. Join your fellow Cardinals as we hit the road to support our team in the NCAA Sweet 16! The soccer game on Saturday is scheduled for 2:30pm (Central Time) which will also allow you some time in Chicago for touring and sightseeing.
Cost: $60
Thanks to support from the Student Life Fee, the cost of this trip has been subsidized to give you the best possible price to attend.
Departure: Saturday, November 18 - Charter Bus departs from the Campus Center at 6:30am
Return: Sunday, November 19 - The return time is dependent upon the tournament games. A win on Saturday results in a game on Sunday which we would stay for and then leave immediately following.

TONIGHT!!! January 25th: The Power of “Beauty”: Women in Media, 7 p.m. in Towers 117
Across media outlets, female stereotypes continue to thrive though many would argue that strides have been made in how women are portrayed in film, television and magazines. Mainstream media bombards children and adults with messages that women should be beautiful and sexy thus limiting the potential of women and negatively effecting young girls’ self esteem, health and the way they treat others. Through this engaging workshop, participants will view clips from the critically acclaimed 2011 documentary film Miss Representation and discuss the unrealistic portrayals of women in mainstream media.
