Are you a junior or senior in high school curious about majoring in Music in college? Join us on Wednesday, April 8th for our Spring Music Major Experience Day! This free event will allow you to explore college classes and rehearsals and get a day-in-the-life perspective of a college Music Major. Then, join us for the Spring Concert for our Commercial Music Ensembles!

Here's what's happening this week at Otterbein Music!

2/11/26, 7:30 PM, Gloria Dei Sanctuary (Capital University) - The OtterCap Orchestra is playing as a part of Capital University's NOW Festival. The Orchestra will be performing "Voiceless Mass" by Pulitzer prize-winning composer, Raven Chacon, the guest composer for the festival.

We hope you will join us to celebrate our students' hard work and dedication!

Don't let this winter weather fool you: the Otterbein Department of Music has some incredible plans for Summer 2026!

Registration is OPEN for our 2026 Summer Music Experience camp, June 8 -13, 2026.

Rising 9th through 12th graders can experience what it's like to be a part of a college music program during this week of intensive music study. Students take daily individual instrumental or vocal lessons combined with a variety of other courses ranging from improvisation to music technology and have the opportunity to participate in Jazz Ensemble, Choir, and other performance opportunities.

Don't wait! The priority scholarship deadline is April 1, 2026 and the final application deadline is May 1, 2026.
