It is with a heavy heart that the Department of Health and Sport Sciences share the sad news that Dr. Kim Fischer lost her battle with cancer on Thursday May 18th. Kim’s passion and love for Otterbein elevated us all to do our best and to be our best self. Kim leaves a legacy that will be forever woven on the fabric of Otterbein through her students and the entire Otterbein community. At the request of her family, and in lieu of a formal ceremony, there will be a Celebration of life for Kim at a later date.
