“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
Today some of our high school National Homeschool Honor Society members raked leaves for elderly members of the surrounding community! How wonderful it is to serve, and what a blessing it is to have willing servants!

Today on getting to know the Honor Society!
Sarah Botti is a junior in high school. While the cornfields in Ohio are very nice, she would much rather spend every moment in the mountains, hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, etc. Although Sarah loves playing music and is very active in the musical community, she is drawn heavily to the sciences, and hopes to pursue a career in medicine. She is so excited for her time in the National Homeschool Honor's Society!

in November we spent part of our meeting packing a box for Operation Shoebox, which was sent to soldiers overseas. Today we were blessed with these letters in response, which show us how we can affect and minister to people, even when they are far away.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.”
Isaiah 53:5-7 ESV
