On Saturday we wrapped up the 13th annual Otterbein Summer Music Experience! It was a great week of music-making, where students experienced daily applied lessons, various classes, choir, jazz ensemble, attending a musical, and final performances to showcase their talents. Thanks to the entire team of faculty, staff, and RAs that make it happen! We hope you'll join us again next year for OSME 2027, tentatively June 20-26!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are so proud of each and every music student who graduated today: our majors, minors, and participants who brought their unique talents to our program. We wish you all the best and hope you'll keep us updated on all your adventures!

Congratulations to all of the students involved in the annual Student Composition Recital this past Sunday evening! Featuring 9 pieces, some of them world premieres, the recital was entirely composed and performed by students.

*OSME UPDATE* The Priority Scholarship Deadline has been extended to Wednesday, April 22!

Do you have a high school musician in your life? Good news - the priority scholarship deadline for Otterbein Summer Music Experience has been extended!

Rising 9th through 12th graders can experience what it's like to be a part of a college music program during this week of intensive music study, June 8-13, 2026. Students take daily individual instrumental or vocal lessons combined with a variety of other courses ranging from improvisation to music technology and have the opportunity to participate in Jazz Ensemble, Choir, and other performance opportunities.

Don't wait! Apply by April 22 for priority scholarship consideration. Final application deadline is May 1, 2026.
