Our team is repping union apprenticeship to +3200 students and over 60 schools this week at the Allied Construction Industries (ACI) Career Days👏

This event has been a great opportunity to share information with students and administrators about apprenticeship opportunities with Laborers’ Local 265 and Laborers' Local 534, and to engage in hands-on learning alongside many of our signatory contractors.

It's Work Zone Safety Awareness Week!🔶🚧🛑

To kick off WZSAW, today is Work Zone Safety Training Day, which emphasizes the importance of laying the groundwork for safety through training. The Ohio Laborers' Training Center is proud to provide safety training to our members to protect them, their crews, and the public in active work zones.

We encourage you to always be cautious and aware in work zones. Safe Actions Save Lives!

Today we’re proud to recognize four Local 265 apprentices who officially graduated and completed their apprenticeship program. These men put in the hours, learned the trade, and earned their place as skilled laborers.

A special thank you to our statewide apprenticeship coordinator, Vince Irwin, and Local 265 apprenticeship coordinator Nikki Crenshaw for their leadership, guidance, and commitment to developing the next generation of skilled workers.

This is what building the future looks like—strong, trained, and ready to get to work.

The Ohio Laborers’ Training & Apprenticeship Program had a double header this Wednesday! 💪👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Our team was proud to represent the Ohio Laborers’ at Newark High School’s Career Fair Day, and at the International Data Center Day Trades Fair at Johnstown-Monroe High School, organized by Turner Construction.

Both events were a great opportunity to connect with students, answer questions, and share more about union Laborer apprenticeships and the skilled trades.

Thank you to Newark High School, Johnstown-Monroe High School, and Turner Construction for the invitation and for hosting two great events focused on career readiness and workforce development. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of it!
