Final letter to finish this school year! For Z week the kiddos grew “zombie” plants. A few weeks ago they decorated their pots with stickers. Then they planted their seeds. They watered them daily and after 3 weeks they had tiny plants to take home. Once the plants had a second set of leaves, when you touch them they fall over like zombies and then go back up. (Some plants definitely worked better than others!)
In sign language they learned: zipper, zoo, zombie, zero and zebra.
Great job kids! Time for summer break!!!!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing mommas! So blessed to have you all in our little village!
The kids got to paint their cards inside zip lock bags (way less messy!) They liked posing for their photos and putting their moon and clouds on the cards!
Of course Owen told me that if the moon was out the sky should have been darker….. 🤣❤️

Letter X week was a little challenging for a craft and sign language! The kids made xylophones with colored popsicle sticks and Pom Pom balls on pipe cleaners. Got to love quiet musical instruments!

In sign language we had to be a little creative finding words to teach and decided to use words with x somewhere in the word: xylophone, exit, box, fox and six.

For W week the kids made woodpeckers. First they colored their houses and then the woodpeckers. They attached a string so the bird could peck on their houses. (Hopefully their woodpeckers don’t do as much damage as the one that likes to make holes on the side of my house!)

In sign language the kids learned: water, watch, whale and wagon.

Very busy Easter Week. The kids got to play in dirt while they made their Resurrection gardens. Then they made the cutest Easter bunnies.

In sign language, we reviewed how to say God and Jesus, and then learned Easter and Resurrection.
