The fed finally made the move the market was anticipating! I think we're already in a recession, but hopefully this will begin to get the inflation to come down.

It will take some time though.

I gotta get this off my chest.....because I don't want you to be fooled by the INTERNET. If you want to be a successful investor, you HAVE to study AND practice.

✅You can't depend on someone to give you all the answers

✅You can watch all the YouTube videos, podcast and courses you want. If you don't put in the work you will not get the results that you want.

Amazon to the rescue. Remember this.......Fundamentals matter and having diverse income streams even for the big dogs matter. Amazon raising their monthly prime fee is a way to offset the inflationary pressures that alot of other growing tech companies don't have.

This one move will help insulate them some from interest rate hikes. Not to mention their cloud business AWS is just starting to heat up.

I want this post to help new traders. What's your biggest lesson learned so far?

One I constantly remind myself that it's ok to sit on the sideline until you're ready.

That's definitely been the case this month with it being one of the most volatile Januarys since the financial crisis in 2008.

Who you rolling with?

Today the market had a pretty nice bounce after a 5 day losing streak.

When that happens I tend to get alot of questions about what I think about the market or a particular stock.

No company is immune to a sell off, but what I will tell you is if you invest in good companies with, healthy balance sheets, low debt and positive free cash flow, those companies are ALWAYS the first to recover.

Stop chasing trasu companies and make your move with some purpose. If you can't take a few red days you'll never get to enjoy the green ones.

You can't have one without the other. It doesn't work like that because the market doesn't move up I'm a straight line.

Time in the market is better than timing the market.

My watchlist consists of 6 companies and 7 ETFs for 2022. Some of them are AAPL, AZO, CMG, FTNT, SMH, SPY, XLK & XLY to name a few.

✅One of the benefits of having a small hyper focused list is you get to know your company's business really well.

✅You start to understand how price responds to negative and positive news.

✅Helps with FOMO so you're not trying to always find the next hot stock

✅Lastly, you can trade the same ticker up and down based on strong/weak SEASONALITY!

This is how I felt as I began planning for 2022!

Feeling very thankful for where I'm at in this journey called life.

Inflation is crazy right now........There is no better time to learn how to invest your money in the stock market than now.

At least you won't lose to inflation. As inflation continues to rise your dollars won't buy as much as they used to.

Knowing what to invest in and when to pull the trigger is a great defense to inflation.
