Exciting news for science educators! We are hosting a series of NGSS-aligned virtual workshops designed to help you bring chemistry to life in your classroom through our innovative storylines.
In each workshop, we dive deep into one of our six chemistry storylines: Northern Lights, Diamonds, Mangroves, Batteries, Plastics, and Caffeine. These sessions are designed to give you a complete roadmap for implementation.
What to Expect in Each Workshop:
*Lesson-by-Lesson Walkthrough: We’ll go through each lesson together, so you know exactly what to plan for and how to facilitate the learning.
*Assessment Strategies: See how to effectively assess student learning through both formative and summative tasks (Transfer Tasks).
*Accommodations & Support: We’ll explore various possibilities for making accommodations to ensure all students can engage in sophisticated science practices.
*Collaborative Learning: You'll have the chance to work in small groups, share successes, and get immediate feedback on materials.
