Have you noticed the emergence of syncratic doctrines making its way into the pulpits and confiscating the consciousness of the congregations? Thus, rendering them impotent and corrupt! There’s a price to be paid for this derogatory preaching and teaching practice.

Listen to these words: “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!(Gal. 1:8, NIV).

For me, there are no gimmicks, no gadgets, but the Gospel! It has to be “Sola-Scriptura!”

Our UFCI ARK Outreach Program was alive and kicking yesterday. We were hosted by our AVM (anti-violence ministry) Site, the Temple of Faith Baptist Church, Pastor Percy Giles.
First, we shared empowering entrepreneurship strategies and principles with the youth. Also, we encourage them to consider entrepreneurship as a viable alternative to crime. Then we rewarded them with gifts. Many of them left inspired and excited about our Entrepreneurship Development Program. “Do not despise these small beginnings(Zechariah 4:10).”
We thank God!!

UFCI hosted a great meeting today with Austin Community Leaders and The Center for Poverty Solutions. Austin is a community with great leaders.

They understand, like many other communities. That many of the problems they experience in community are caused by systemic malfunction. Those malfunctions causes discomfort to the many lives they serve in the community.

We also discussed solutions to some of those issues, and we intend to act upon them. It was a blessed time.

Our UFCI-ARK Program, Anti-Violence discussion was very informative. It was a collaboration of other organizations who shared in the discussion too.

Our focus: “Hurting Homes” Hurt Others! Within this content, there’s a triangular relationship that effect the community organically.

Moreover, If there’s no attention given to this triangular relationship, there will continue to be reactionary responses to the issue of community violence.

Instead, there should be an active intrinsic investigation that examines internal causations. Which would contribute to developing short and long term solutions. It was a Blessing!!
