The Last Chance gathering of alumni, parents and friends of St. Joseph High School on Sunday, August 1, was a memorable event. More than 600 attended the day's festivities, enjoying fellowship on the soccer field, perusing memorabilia in the gym and reminiscing over 61 years of Charger history in the cafeteria or out in the courtyard. While there was occasional sadness and a few tears shed, friendships made and futures shaped comprised 99% of the conversations. It was a joy-filled day!

Simply amazing! Way to go, Keri! We celebrate you!
On Monday, June 28, Kerilyn Mirabelli, Class of '21, was presented with a check for $1,000 from Bill Spartz, board member representing the Richport YMCA and their service award.
Spartz commented: "Keri is an amazing student-athlete and part of a legacy of St. Joseph High School students who not only possess a high level of standards and values but who continue to model those beyond high school. She is a classic, altruistic young woman who deserves this honor, not only because of her academic and athletic talents but also because of her tremendous service to the community."
Congratulations, Keri! We are very proud of you!

Charger Pride!
The Chargers finished their 2021 season last Saturday with a near win, losing 6 - 5 to Northridge Prep. Marcus Williams and Jack Amberg pitched well while the offense scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th but left the tying and winning runs on base. Jacob Setser had 2 RBIs while Vince McDowell was on base 3 times, scoring 2 runs.
A number of alumni baseball players came back for the final game in Charger history. All of them are looking forward to the alumni game to precede The Last Chance celebration for St. Joes later this summer.
