One Realtor said something this week that I haven't stopped thinking about.
She told me, “I know I’m working hard... but I’m not doing the work that’s actually growing my business.”
After 40 years in real estate, I understand exactly what she means.
A Realtor can spend a full week posting content, learning a new tool and chasing the next strategy, while avoiding the conversations that keep their business moving.
Technology has a place. It can help you stay organized and open a door, but people choose to work with the Realtor who makes them feel remembered.
That is why I come back to this Be Do Have check:
→ BE: Become the Realtor who protects time for real connection, even on a busy day.
→ DO: Make one connection phone call today with no pitch, simply to reconnect.
→ HAVE: Choose one clear result you will achieve this week.
That call may not create business today, but it gives you evidence that you are becoming someone who builds trust on purpose.
In this market, relationships are still the advantage.
What relationship activity is creating real business for you?

He built a $95M potential pipeline…
But there was still one thing holding him back.
A mindset exercise around a toxic client experience.
He told me:
“I’ve been too busy with revenue-producing activities.”
I get it.
Sometimes we stay busy because it’s easier than facing what’s underneath.
But that old experience was still affecting his:
→ Energy
→ Boundaries
→ Confidence
→ Self-image
And here’s the thing…
The work you resist is often the work that’s holding you back.
That’s why we use BE → DO → HAVE.
BE willing to look at the story.
DO the internal work.
HAVE the freedom to show up differently.
Because being busy doesn’t always mean you’re moving forward.
Sometimes your next level requires you to stop…
Look inward…
And deal with what you’ve been avoiding.
What are you resisting in your business right now?
Drop it in the comments. 👇
And send this to a Realtor who needs the reminder.

Your income ceiling might actually be an identity ceiling.
I spoke with a Realtor today who’s been in the business for seven years.
He’s doing $250K a year.
He wants to get to $400K.
His answer?
Work harder.
More leads.
More follow-up.
More showings.
More hours.
But here’s what I challenged him on:
A better calendar cannot outwork an identity that keeps producing the same results.
If you still see yourself as a $250K Realtor…
You’ll likely keep making $250K decisions.
The next level may not require you to DO more.
It may require you to BE different.
Different beliefs.
Different standards.
Different habits.
Different self-image.
Because:
BE → DO → HAVE
Sometimes your next income level isn't waiting for a better strategy.
It’s waiting for a better version of you.
What if your income ceiling isn’t a business problem?
What if it’s an identity problem?

Who’s in your tribe?
The people who lift you up and help you stay on track.
Fear can hold anyone back, even experienced Realtors.
It’s not just about skills, it’s about mindset.
Here’s what we've noticed recently
→ Negative thoughts
→ Imposter syndrome and self doubt
→ Non empowering beliefs like I’m not good enough
These beliefs lead to fear.
Fear creates procrastination.
This keeps you stuck and frustrated.
We teach you to flip the script:
⇨ Recognize the limiting beliefs
⇨ Challenge them with your wins and past success
⇨ Surround yourself with people who know you can succeed
Your tribe plays a BIG role
They keep you accountable
They help you see what’s next
They remind you what’s possible
Feeling stuck?
→ Pick up your phone
→ Reach out to 3 positive people now
→ Share your thoughts and feel the shift happen
Your tribe is waiting and they matter more than you think.
Feeling isolated, lost and alone in your real estate business?
I invite you to follow and join the
Be Do Have Movement tribe.

Business truths that I've learned from my past...
1. Your daily habits determine your results
Your standards create your energy, protect it at all costs
2. Consistency is the secret to growth
You might not be sticking to your plan long enough
3. Focus is a mastered skill
Distraction is the death of your goals, choose where you invest your attention wisely
4. Plan to prioritize fun in your business
The most productive thing you can do is plan for rest and recovery
5. Your thinking has to change as you grow
Expansion requires an elevated version of you

One Realtor said something this week that I haven't stopped thinking about.
She looked at me and said, “I know I’m working hard... but I’m not doing the work that’s actually growing my business.”
After 40 years in real estate, I believe that sentence describes this market.
Most Realtors are not lazy. They are exhausted trying to keep up with content, AI, webinars, CRMs and more leads.
Meanwhile, the work that has always built this business gets pushed to tomorrow. A real conversation with someone in your world.
Technology can help open a door, but trust grows when people feel seen, heard and remembered.
I come back to this simple Be Do Have check:
→ HAVE: Decide on the result you want from your database this month.
→ BE: Become the Realtor who protects time for connection, even when the inbox is full.
→ DO: Make one meaningful call today with no pitch and no agenda beyond reconnecting.
That call may not create a deal today, but it creates evidence that you are building the kind of business people remember.
Tell me in the comments, what relationship activity is producing real business for you right now?

After 40 years in business, I've never met anyone who became an overnight success.
I've only met people who stayed in the game long enough for everyone else to think they did.
Time on task overtime lead to the breakthrough
The big win happened long after the journey started
The moment everything changes
Then they say...
You're an overnight success
What most people never see in real estate is the season and years before
The slow market, the quiet phone, the lonely open houses that go nowhere
The follow-up calls that feel invisible, months of no sales
I have watched agents quit on themselves right before momentum started building
They didn't lack the talent
They lost belief and quit before the evidence arrived
The agents who eventually break through are usually the ones willing to keep doing the work while the market feels uncertain
→ BE the kind of Realtor who stays committed even when results are delayed
→ DO the daily conversations, follow-up and lead generation anyway
→ HAVE the confidence and momentum that comes from keeping promises to yourself
After 40 years in this business, I have learned that consistency during hard seasons changes your identity
By the time the market notices your growth you have already become a different person
Feeling like you need a reset in your business?

I was scared to leave a high-income role for fear of the unknown
From the outside, it looked like I had everything
Security
Leadership role
Consistent income
A future people would have gladly kept
But deep down when I looked in the mirror
I knew I was no longer happy and fulfilled
So I made one of the hardest decisions of my career
I quit, sold my shares and walked away
Not because I had certainty
Not because I had the whole plan figured out
I left because my heart was pulling me toward something bigger
Building the Be Do Have Movement with my daughter
The fear was real
Fear of the unknown
Fear of losing income
Fear of leaving an identity I had built over decades
But this experience taught me something I now coach our clients
Your next level will require a new identity first
This is the Be Do Have Method
→ BE willing to trust yourself before the evidence exists
→ DO the uncomfortable thing even when certainty is gone
→ HAVE the growth, fulfillment, and impact that comes from your decisions
Sometimes growth is not about adding more
Sometimes it is finally being willing to let go
What is one thing you know you may need to leave behind to grow?
