Projects on Reproducibility in Machine Learning
Dear colleagues,
To get a deeper insight of the research frontiers of Machine Learning, UTMIST is calling for ML-enthusiasts to work on various Reproducibility Projects lead by project leads - researchers in the UTMIST community. Reproducibility has always been the core of scientific research [1], and one of the best way to deeply understand a research work is to reproduce it. Being involved in such projects, you will reproducing results from the most cutting-edge research papers, and setting up an open-source codebase that contains a collection of reproducing code for research publication where no open-source code is available.
Participants will be working in small teams lead by team leads. You will be working with git to organize your code, do version control properly and make your code readable.
How to get involve:
UTMIST welcomes community members of all levels to join. Simply email us your Github link, resume and a short cover-letter(~100 words) to indicate your interests. ([email protected]) We will select the most qualified applicants and depending on your experience, you may receive a small coding challenge later on.
We also welcome you to join as project leads if you are a hard-core researcher and would like to work on reproducing any specific research work of your own interest. Contact us with your proposal and we can talk!
We sincerely look forward to your participation!
