π§‘π€ Thanks for a remarkable run, Tigers!
The effort and never-give-up attitude displayed by the Valley girls soccer team this season was inspiring to say the least. It ended with a hard-fought 2-1 loss to Waukee Northwest in the Class 3A Championship, but every member of this team can hold their head high.
Congratulations to Coach Chapman and company on a great season!

Olivia Rotich scored the only goal of the game as the Valley girls soccer team held off Ankeny Centennial 1-0 in the semifinal round, setting up a showdown with topβranked Waukee Northwest for the championship. The title game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13 in Ames.

π Huge congratulations to Valley High School - WDMCS student Montserrat Lepe-Guerrero for winning 1st place in the PI 515 Girlsβ Entrepreneurship Incubator program!
Inspired by her experience working at her familyβs restaurant, Mi Mexico, Montserrat noticed a challenge and created a solution: a customizable point-of-sale simulator designed to help small businesses streamline employee onboarding.
Her innovative project earned her a $5,000 scholarship!π

Valley beat Linn-Mar 4-1 in the first round of the Class 3A Girls State Soccer Tournament. The Tigers will face Ankeny Centennial at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, June 11. The winner goes to the state championship game!

β½πThe Tiger girls soccer team is back in the state tournament!
Valley beat Southeast Polk 3-1 to win the region championship. With the win, the Tigers improve to 15-2-1 on the season and extend their unbeaten streak to nine games.
The Class 3A State Tournament begins Tuesday, June 9 in Ames.
