Our staff members have officially adopted these rubber ducks for the summer. The rules? They must take their duck with them on vacation and capture their adventures.

🍩 A Sweet Send-Off
A massive, heartfelt thank you to our amazing local Hy-Vee for supplying our staff with delicious donuts! You fueled our final day and made our send-off extra sweet. We appreciate your incredible community support! 🙌❤️

🎓 Kindergarten Graduation Day! 🎓

Today we celebrate a very special milestone for our youngest learners! Our kindergarten students have spent the year learning, growing, making friends, and building the skills that will carry them into first grade.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished this year—from learning letters and numbers to becoming confident, caring members of our Westridge family.

Congratulations to the Kindergarten Class of 2026! We can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll do next year.

📚 Upcoming Kindergarten Families at Westridge 📚

This is a reminder that Kindergarten Jump Start is tomorrow (Wednesday) from 1:00–3:00 PM.

Parents, please plan to stay for the first 30–45 minutes while important information is shared. During that time, your child will be actively engaged in a kindergarten classroom and have an opportunity to begin exploring their new school environment.

Please plan to pick up your child at 3:00 PM.

While some students enjoyed outdoor activities, others had a great time indoors playing bingo! 🏆✨

Today was a beautiful day for Westridge's Field Day, led by our amazing 6th grade leaders! A huge thank you to Smile Orthodontics for sponsoring the hugely popular inflatable obstacle course. We’d also like to thank our amazing PTA for providing popsicles on such a warm, beautiful day.

Thank you as well to the many volunteers and parents who came out to support and help make the day such a success. What a fantastic day it was for our students and staff! We’re guessing everyone will sleep well tonight! ☀️🎉

Assistant Principal Garza Delgado and Principal Paulson stepped into leadership roles at Westridge Elementary last week! They had the opportunity to observe some of our phenomenal teachers, lead a read aloud, assist in the lunchroom, support positive hallway behaviors, and greet students with friendly smiles throughout morning.

Mr. Heuton and Mrs. Kerchal were able to take the morning off knowing the building was in great hands. Thank you both for your leadership and for helping make Westridge such a special place!
