What a weekend! Made the 10 hour trip down to Petty, TX to Rocket Raceway Park. Won my heat race which gave me a start in the 3 spot in the main feature. Car was running good, track was fast and the car handled great! Motor started skipping and I fell to 5th, after a rollover/ red flag, I lined up for restart and ran a few more laps and decided to exit the track to protect the equipment/save the motor. It was a great experience. Had the motor been running properly we would have remained a top 5 car. Special thanks to Brian Efkamp and Mike Kennedy for making the trip with me and being my pit crew. Thank you to North Texas Modlites and Rocket Raceway Park for your hospitality.
