Dowling Girls Track and Field are 2022 CIML CentralConference and District Champions!
Monday, August 2nd is a big day! So many of us will be up early to watch Karissa run in the final of the 5000 at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Best of luck to this great Dowling Catholic alum.
Later that day another Dowling great, Larry Weier, will be lending his coaching and general positive vibes to residents of Grand Living as they compete in a Olympic style competition at Valley HS track in West Des Moines. Larry will hand out awards as well as encourage (coach) between 2:00 and 2:30. I can assure you that the surest way to make an old coaches heart soar is for him to see some of your smiling faces. Between 2 and 2:30 Go to Valley... Say hello... Watch Larry soar. It will be the best thing you do all week.

Proud of Karissa in making the USA Olympic team and representing all of us in the Tokyo Olympic games. Set your alarm for 5am on July 31st
Thrilled to be a small part of her journey and that of so many who have competed for Dowling Catholic.
Equally thrilled to witness some of these girls capture National, regional and conference titles throughout the years.
The relationships that develop over a track season are special.
Just ask Margaret.
