Calling all West De Pere FFA members, friends, family, and supporters! We are looking for a few more volunteers to help clean up the bleachers after tomorrow evening’s West De Pere Varsity home football game.

📍 Meet us on the home bleachers immediately after the game. Mrs. Jurczykowski will be there with bags and gloves

This is an easy fundraiser that directly supports our FFA members and chapter activities. As a thank you, anyone who helps with our football game clean ups will receive a FREE West De Pere FFA T-shirt!

We have several games throughout the season, but tomorrow’s game is our biggest need right now. We appreciate our FFA members, families, alumni, and supporters who help make these opportunities possible!

As the Brown County Fair comes to an end and we settle back into our normal routines before the school year begins, let’s take a look at some of the amazing things our FFA members accomplished at the fair this year!

Our members exhibited a wide variety of projects including cattle, horses, rabbits, chickens, and so many other projects they worked hard on throughout the year. Whether they exhibited through FFA, their own 4-H clubs, or other youth organizations, we’re proud to celebrate their accomplishments!

Check out some of the Merit and Judge’s Favorite ribbons our members earned on their projects! These pictures are just a snapshot of everything our members accomplished throughout the week and don’t even begin to capture it all!

Another successful fair week in the books! Great job to all of our FFA members on a fantastic fair! Now it’s time to relax a little and enjoy these last few days of summer before school starts.

As we gear up for the upcoming school year, our West De Pere FFA officers have already been hard at work this summer planning and preparing for another great year of FFA!

In between work days and planning sessions, our officers took some time to enjoy a fun day together! They spent the day mini golfing, exploring the wildlife sanctuary, enjoying lunch, kayaking, and doing some fishing. 🎣🛶☀️

We are proud of the time and effort our officers are putting in to make this upcoming year a great one!

Our FFA members enjoyed a full day at the Wisconsin State FFA Convention! Here are some of the highlights:

-James and Allisyn served an important role as delegates, representing our chapter, participating in committee discussions and voting on key state FFA matters, including the election of the Section 9 State FFA Officer.

-Bezzarell entered a beautiful ceramic chicken in the State FFA Convention Art Contest.

-Ryleigh and Bezzarell had the opportunity to attend an engaging career workshop led by a large animal veterinarian.

-We were also proud to see WDP FFA alum, Avery perform with the State FFA Honors Choir.

In addition, members explored the College and Career Expo, enjoyed dinner together as a chapter, and attended the Fourth General Session where we had the incredible opportunity to hear inspiring words from Dr. Temple Grandin!

We would like to highlight some member achievements from the FFA contests this spring!

Allisyn O advanced and competed at the sectional Leadership Development Events with her awesome speech about Equine Therapy. Although she did not advance to state, we are proud of all the hard work she put in!

Our Milk Quality and Products Career Development Event team advanced to the state competition and placed 10th overall in the state!

Ryleigh W also competed at the State CDE competition in Dairy Handling. She placed 7th overall in the state.

🐄🐑 FFA Petting Zoo – This Friday! 🐐🐓

Join us this Friday from 7:30AM -12:30PM at West De Pere High School for our annual FFA Petting Zoo! Open to the community! Come meet a variety of animals, learn about agriculture, and get up close for a fun, hands-on experience.
