The Academy families & teachers at West Warwick had SO MUCH FUN at our Trunk or Treat event on Sunday! There were so many great trunks and costumes!!

We are looking for motivated teachers to join our team at our team in Lincoln. :)

Searching for full-time, energetic, and reliable teachers to work in a premier, fun, clean, and supportive early care and education environment. Our program serves children from 6 weeks to school age and operates on a year-round basis. Candidates must have experience working with children in an early childhood setting. Lead teachers must possess a minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood or related field, and knowledge of RIELDS, Creative Curriculum, and BrightStars is a plus.

As an early childcare teacher, you must have exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, especially with parents, as well as patience, flexibility, and effective classroom management skills.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 1 year working in ECE
• Must have taken, or be willing to take, RIELDS Foundations and Curriculum courses.
• Must complete 20 hours of professional development per year.
• Must possess excellent work attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities may include:
• Monthly and daily lesson planning
• Assessment of students
• Daily communication with families
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Maintaining compliance with DCYF and BrightStars standards
• Following center policies,
• Working with coworkers as an active team member

Our first in-person event in Lincoln since COVID-19, and it was one of the most successful Trunk-or-Treats EVER! Not only were our families and teachers able to hang out and have a spooktacular time, but many were also introduced for the FIRST TIME! To say we are grateful for the turnout would be an understatement. THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME! Happy Halloween 🎃
