The Training, Innovation & Leadership Institute (TILI) has been granted provisional organizational accreditation by CAPCE — the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education.

What does that mean? TILI can now develop and deliver accredited EMS continuing education under our own provider number that can be applied to your Continuing Education Requirements.

This milestone reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based education and maintaining the standards our learners deserve.

We're just getting started. More accredited courses are on the way as we continue building our EMS education catalog.

Recently, the RI National Guard Medical Detachment joined us for two days of custom-designed immersive, hands-on skills development.

Across the weekend, participants rotated through a wide range of high-impact training stations, including BLS/CPR, immersive casualty care in our 270° Immersive Simulation Suite, a blood transfusion escape room, advanced bleeding control in our one-of-a-kind wet lab, VR Patients simulations, SALAD airway skills development, and tactical casualty treatment and evacuation.

This training was designed to challenge participants in realistic, fast-moving environments while strengthening clinical decision-making, teamwork, communication, and operational readiness.

We are proud to support the Rhode Island National Guard Medical Detachment and grateful for their commitment to sharpening lifesaving skills that matter when seconds count.

SALAD Airway Simulation in Action — Day 2 Continues!

The FDNY Search & Rescue Field Medicine Symposium rolls into Day 2, and participants are getting hands-on with one of the most realistic airway challenges in modern simulation training.

What’s SALAD?
No… not lunch. 🥗
SALAD = Suction Assisted Laryngoscopy and Airway Decontamination — an advanced airway management technique designed to help providers manage a soiled or contaminated airway, such as when a patient is actively vomiting, bleeding, or has copious secretions that make visualization and intubation extremely difficult. This technique emphasizes continuous suction, airway decontamination, and rapid airway control in some of the most challenging real-world scenarios.

We’re proud to share that TILI is the first organization in the nation to receive the new Laerdal Advanced Airway Solution System, reinforcing our commitment to delivering cutting-edge, high-impact simulation education. Our leadership team helped the Laerdal product development engineers with feedback and input over the last two years to bring this exceptional new product to market.
