This year's Islamic Studies Focus:
Reading and Understanding Qur'an: Rigorous, individualized instruction for both younger and higher grades to master fluent recitation and deep connection. We have invested extensively this year with a 8 week Quran program for grades 6-12.
Understanding Salah: Children mimic the patterns and the environment around them. They will form a habit of properly praying dhuhr at school and also learning the importance of daily prayers.
Islamic Knowledge Competitions: Engaging academic challenges designed to build community, retention, and religious literacy.
World-Class Instruction: Drawing from our extensive experience at Iqra, we connect students directly with expert teachers from our local community, traditional Darul Ulooms, and Al-Azhar University in Egypt.
