After 20 years of dedicated service to the students and families of Granger Elementary, our wonderful Ms. Bonnie Brown is retiring! Please join us in celebrating her incredible career.

When: This Friday, from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Where: The School Library

Format: Open house style (stop by anytime!)

Details: Light refreshments will be served

We welcomed another outstanding principal (for the day) to Granger Elementary today. Meet the lovely and talented (and very well dressed) Ms. Iloilo from kindergarten who earned the chance to serve her school by being one of the top earners during our Buddy-A-Thon fundraiser last month. Principal Iloilo jumped right into her responsibilities by greeting students, writing thank you notes and taking treats to our guest teachers, passing out BEST tickets during lunch recess, and presenting certificates to each of our incredible students and staff members of the week. She helped the office run smoothly and brought joy to everyone she met. She learned that being a principal is a very busy job, but still had the energy to request a “silly face principal selfie” at the end of her shift. Granger Elementary welcomed a new Principal (for the day) today! Meet Mr. Sweet, a very responsible second grader who earned the chance to serve his school by being one of our top fundraisers during the Buddy a Thon last month. He started his day with a brief orientation on walkie talkie etiquette, signed his contract, updated the name plate outside of his office, then donned his official ID badge and jumped right into work. He joined Principal Lowry in welcoming students with high fives and smiles, passed out BEST tickets during lunch and recess, visited classrooms and celebrated teachers, conducted a building inspection with our custodial team, filmed for GETV, mastered the walkie talkie communication like a pro and was still all smiles during his end of shift interview with Mrs. Lowry. Thanks for your hard work today, Mr. Sweet. You’re hired!
