I help women work towards healthier eating habits and reaching their desired fitness goals.

My time at the West Valley Fitness Center is coming to an end. If you are interested in home workouts, I’m your girl. I can come to you or write a program for you to follow through an app.
We can meet as little or as often as you prefer with flexible pricing.
Strength training will never NOT be foundational for aging and improved health. 😄💪

A quick little circuit to finish off her lifting session. Go Cassie! It helps to get a routine started before the holidays so when changes in schedules come up, we have habits to fall back on- even if they are slightly different.

Steve is making outstanding progress. He pushes hard every workout. He developed an eye disease in his youth and quickly lost his vision. He is a prime example of “no excuses” when it comes to chasing goals. Despite a tumble from the night before, he decided to show up anyway and commit to himself for a stronger and healthier future.
Then to top it off- he participated in an improv show! It was great!
This is your reminder to show up for yourself not only for your future health but also to go after personal interests and step outside your comfort zone.

Meet Steve. He is one of my home training clients who is making great progress on his strength goals.
Steve lost his sight as a child but has not let it hold him back from running 2 businesses and taking care of his family.
After losing quite a bit of weight, his goals are now to gain muscle. He is pushing hard and increasing his sessions per week.
Do you prefer home workouts or gym workouts?

Way to go Amy!!
Goals: fat loss for vacation and increased strength.
She met her goals in time for her trip and only gained a small amount while gone.
We worked on muscle imbalances as knee surgeries tend to create more imbalances than usual.
Previous shoulder injury did not stop her either- we just made adjustments.
My clients really do inspire me every day!
Give a hand to Amy! 👏

CONGRATULATIONS HEIDI! 🎉🥇
Heidi is the winner of the summer 6 Week Challenge. She won most over all changes in photos and also won the consistency challenge!
She is now down 14 pounds and here’s what she had to say about her experience -

“I feel I have more energy loved the grocery list prep and all of the goal oriented paperwork or being able to put it in the app on my body the thing I saw first was my back looked better so I would probably say the consistency with getting stronger every time and having the energy to do those exercises so I guess the stamina I felt like was a big thing for me.”

“Oh and also knowing that I could talk to you and ask you about anything I needed:-)”

I am so proud of Heidi and all the challengers for putting in the work these past 6 weeks and reaching for progress over perfection.
She won a rocking camp chair and a MyZone heart rate monitor!

Who is interested in joining the next round this fall? 🍁

DISCOMFORT IS WHERE TRANSFORMATION BEGINS

Trying something new outside your comfort zone is one of the most powerful ways to grow—personally, emotionally, and even physically. Here’s why it’s worth it:

1. You Discover What You’re Capable Of

Your comfort zone is like a fence. What you already know feels safe, but it’s not necessarily where you thrive. Pushing past it shows you strengths, skills, and courage you didn’t know you had.

2. Growth Doesn’t Happen in Safety

Whether it’s mental growth, physical gains, or emotional strength, it only happens when you challenge yourself. Discomfort is where transformation begins.

3. You Build Confidence

Every time you try something new—even if you stumble—you’re proving to yourself that you can handle uncertainty. That confidence carries over into every other part of your life.

4. You Break the Routine That Might Be Holding You Back

Routines are comfortable—but they can also keep you stuck. Trying something new shakes things up and opens the door to new ideas, people, and opportunities.

5. You Stop Wondering “What If?”

Regret often comes from not trying. Pushing your boundaries means fewer “what ifs” and more “I’m glad I tried.”

6. It Makes Life More Interesting

Comfort zones feel safe, but they can get boring. New experiences bring excitement, challenge, and sometimes joy you didn’t expect.

Even if it’s scary. Even if you don’t feel “ready.”
You grow through the stretch. And the version of you on the other side? That’s someone worth meeting.

Want help figuring out what kind of challenge or new experience is right for you right now? Schedule a call with me! I have connections with many different coaches (yoga, boxing, running coaches, and myself for strength and conditioning) I would love to point you in the right direction to get you closer to your goals!
